So, last night the jolena was successfully reobtained. Because we are crazy, we left here at four, reached her at nine,then immediately turned around and came back. nikerymis did most of the driving 'cause she's crazy and loves. Weather was beautiful all the way up into Slippery Rock. But right as we were headed back, snow began to fall and never really stopped :3 I drove the last three hours or so, and now I think I will spend my Saturday snuggly and warm in my house, doing writing and LT3 things.

Now to go make coffee.

And in less than a week now, we will be home ^__^

So at least one or two people requested this, so I'm posting the recipe I used. I got it from here, but I made enough changes that I'm going to post it in its entirety here. ^__^

I got to meet amatsubu today! ^__^ It was great, though next time I need to pack better... or just haul her up this way. ^^; She lives down on the south end of town, and I'm all the way up at the north edge.

I took Tian and Shaial with me to meet her, and I think we may have a convert. *gigglefit* Shaial liked her, though. He stood, in his hooves, on the carpet, for like ten minutes. :P Bah. Ungrateful demongod.

But now I doubly have reason to pick up the pace with the BP rewrite and Zero Chronicles. She knows where I live! AAAHHHHH!!!!! <3

On Friday, we go pick up my little sister from her school. On the following Thursday, we should be on the road no later than 2:00, headed for home \o/ And we will not be back in Cincinnati 'til the 2nd or 3rd \o/

I am finished with Addison's story, the Jewel rewrite, and hopefully today and tomorrow I'll finish Milo's story :3 Then I will pick a novella and run with it, and somewhere in there rewrite/edit the Wick stories as necessary.

And today is the second to last day of the office secret santa. I got her a silly mug and some funny office post-its. Then I got her a pretty infuster thingie from Yankee Candles that I really hope works for the big gift. I need to stop worrying about this crap.

Only a week.5 and I am free for a week! \o/

The holidays are a hard season, for many reasons. Stress is high, shoppers panic trying to find those last-minute gifts, and retailers want to shoot said shoppers and put them out of their misery.

But it's hardest when you're miles from family, and the closest person to you is anti-family and doesn't see or care what it's all about.

So, of course, in the middle of these depressing times, add female hormones from our monthly event.

• Finish cleaning/rearranging living room, hope roomies approve
  
• Finish transcribing Addison's story and Jewels rewrite
  
• Incur Samantha's wrath by sending Addison, Jewels, and Kirby's story for final edits
  
• Work on covers for Missing Butterfly and The Bastard Prince
  
• Work on Wick stories. First one needs rewritten, Third one needs heavy edits, I think the rest are good or need only minor tweaking?
  

I may also start transferring over my lulu and createspace stuff here soon, if we can alot hte ISBNs. Nothing about them will change, other than possibly the covers, I think. I don't want people who have already bought them to have to buy them again, that is just plain mean.

Looking to be a busy weekend, guess I should stop screwing around on LJ :3

likes to wake me up, for those that don't actually know this story. He knows when I'm to be up, when I should be home, and when I'm supposed to go to bed. If I am not where I should be, when I should be, he gets Displeased.

Waking me up is his greatest chore. He starts off patting my head, then progresses to covering my mouth with his paw. Then he gets the claws out.

But, lately, I've thwarted him by rolling over and facing the wall instead of the nightstand. He gets mad and goes back to sleep with me for a bit.

Except now he's learned that he can climb up on me, stand right between my shoulder blades, and lean down to apply paw with claws in/out as per his preference.

So I was awake today, dead on time at 5:30, like I used to always be when I took the bus -__-

Um. I had a thought to write a little drabble to put in some cards I'm sending out. It failed spectacularly. I simply cannot ever write as short as I would like. Ah, well ^__^ This is all of three pages, which is awesomely short for me in the general run of things.

Note: Luke is from this story, since I doubt anyone remembers it well, if at all ^___^ But I always knew I'd come back to him someday. I simply cannot help myself.
